Tweets, Quacks, and a Finish!

Here is an update on the robins who built their nest on top of our gate. They have three new babies!

I had different ducks come the front door for dinner. How do they know I have corn? The one duck has the green mallard head and a brown body. The other duck is black with a white on its neck (and very nasty).

I have another quilt finished. It was made with berry bliss bali pops:



Quacker and two quacks

Look at AJ. He has some 3-D paper glasses on. This picture cracks me up!

My pet ducks. They come for corn twice a day. The male comes right up on the front porch. When they see our car pull into the driveway, they come waddling. Scrappy was upset at first. But, now that he knows they won't be sleeping in the big bed, he just ignores them.

I am really trying hard to finish up some of my projects before starting anything new.

Well, I did piece the backing and now I have quilt it and add the binding. Guess who gets this one?

I am now working of the batik houses, but I ran into a glitch. A very  long while I go, I cut the 1st border. The last two strips are 3" and 1 1/2" -- suppose to be 2 1/2. I can't find anymore of the fabric and I so love the dots. Solution remove what I have and make everything 1 1/2".

I walked over to the White House today remembering 9/11. Some one was mowing the lawn -- such an ordinary chore.
