I think I need to lay this out on the floor. It is a pattern from Moda Bake Shop. I made the blocks at the spring retreat. Hmmm...Maybe just pull them out of a paper bag and not drive myself nuts.
i vote for the paper bag method! :) if you really hate the results, you can rearrange a little, but - for me - i find that just slapping the blocks up without too much thought 1. gets me started so I can make better decisions, and 2. turns out quite nice because the eye unconsciously balances what it sees even when i'm /not/ thinking too hard. Have fun!
